DoD Controller here in Arizona. Currently considering a jump to the FAA. Not sure I wanna take such a big pay cut while in training though. Good to be here and will talk with everyone on the boards.

Currently in Tower with DoD, is a Radar slot with the FAA. Either in Phoenix or Tucson..don't know that yet. Good Luck on your app.

At least wait til the new pay comes out... that should help your decision. My buddy just left Tucson tower for a DOD job at DM AFB. He said he is loving life right now with the DOD.

I heard they will be hiring 5 for Tucson Tower this fiscal year and 4 for Tucson TRACON. Both are hurting for controllers pretty bad.
