Hello!
Posted: 08-15-2009, 01:59 AM Well first post, and I can say I haven't even started any atc process. I obtained my PPL and was going to continue on towards becoming ATP however after much debate I decided my heart just wasn't set to be a full time pilot, but the sky's are my love always have been so i've decided to continue to follow my aviation dreams but in a slightly different form. ATC truly just makes since unfortunately I just missed out on Pubnat8 so I will be waiting patiently for pubnat 9 to open up. In the meantime I will be doing as much research on the at-sat as I can and I hope this community will help me on my long journey towards becoming a full fledged ATC!

You picked a GREAT time to come into ATC.... 3 years ago you would be pretty pissed... just go to FAA union forum... but thats WAY over your head... learn as much as you can about this career field and jump in
