Hey everyone,
First off I am very happy to find a site like this. I feel very at ease with my decision in pursuing an ATC career. A little about me....

My name is Brant and I am currently living about an hour north of Harrisburg,PA. I am looking into the CCBC to attend the ATC program there. I am married and currently have 3 children and am looking to provide a better future for them, as well as some job stability and challenge for me. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE aviation, and have since I was a youngster. I served 6 years in the USMC as an aviation electronics technician on air traffic control radars, communications, and navigational aids and loved every minute of it. I would find myself however hanging out with the ATC's more and enjoying their conversations more than any conversation about a freakin ohm meter! I am going to the preliminary admissions interview on October 13th and look forward to finding out more about the program

Hope to be a contributor as well as a good learner throughout my journey, and I believe I have found the best place on the web to learn and chat about everything ATC

hey welcome to the site!

Semper Fi.

Best of luck at your interviews.

Are you under 31?

With your military background.. you COULD probably, and more expediently get into the career sans-collegiate/voc certification.

basic requirements are 3 years progressive work experience - or a 4 year degree.

just fill out the next ap brother!

Heck, Fill out the VRA app without CTO right now bro. You could get picked up sooner than you think. It's worth a shot. Make sure it's done before the 14th this month!

Good Luck!
