hello from chicago!
Posted: 10-23-2009, 09:07 PM hey everyone just joined the site, i applied for the pubnat "trainee" position back in july and the announcement closed on 7/17/09. i just received an email from the ATSAT program director on 10/14/09 letting me know that i am allowed to take the test by Robinson aviation in Nov. the test is taking place in St Charles, IL at the Hilton, I'm scheduled to take the test on Nov 20. Is anyone else in the chicago area get the same setup? or time frame? If any of you veterans have any comments or advice for me that would be much appreciated! ive alrdy downloaded the stuck mic study guide and bought another study guide that overviews the whole test aswell.

Re: hello from chicago!
Posted: 10-24-2009, 12:50 PM Denver Center, you'll probably be waiting a long, long time. They've got one of the longest training waits at the moment. Salt Lake probably won't be much better, but at least they've got some people in the Academy right now.

Re: hello from chicago!
Posted: 10-26-2009, 02:32 PM ATC-SAT.com may have one, but you've got to pay for it. I don't know how good their stuff is, but several people from PUBNAT7 and 8 have tried it and have said good things. There's also a version from the AT-SAT prep book's CD, but it's poorly made, halfway broken, and not worth spending your time on.
