Hello everyone! I'm interested in being an Air Traffic Controller as new my career. I'm totally new to this forum and to the Aviation field. My question is does anyone know what is the hiring rate for ATC? I know that the age limit for being an ATC in the US is 31. I just turned 28 and time is not on my side. Also are their any other aviation field out that have no age limit?

Thank you

Another path you might consider is Airline Dispatcher, as for the various colleges, I'd really shop around for the program that best fits your budget and goals. I've seen individuals run up student loan debt of over $90K and not have a pilot license or a clue about ATC, so be real selective.

Are you a U.S. citizen? I ask just because you said "being an ATC in the US". IIRC, you need to be a citizen in order to apply.
