Hey all,

I'm new to the site, been lurking here for a few weeks now. Been thinking about ATC for the last couple months, ever since I spent a few hours with the controllers in my local tower (KSGF).

I have a bachelor's degree in business, but my future isn't in business. I'm 26, just started some flying last summer (less than 10 hour logged). Through that process I found out that ATC may be a better career path for me. A few months ago i applied to the air force for their bi-annual Officer Training School board, with ATC as my top career choice. I was turned down...out of 1300 applicants they only selected 72, with maybe 2-3 atc selections.

I currently live in Springfield, MO (1 year now) but grew up/graduated from college in FL. So I'm checking out some of the at-cti schools in florida for possible application in the fall.

Cool, my A school is in Pensacola, FL. Maybe we can hangout and talk about ATC stuff! I think Jacksonville has the most CTI schools, though--if I remember correctly.
