Brand new! Hello...
Posted: 01-28-2010, 01:36 AM

Hey...Im 24 and recently found a great deal of interest in ATC. I have read alot on here, but most info is above my head. I had a few quesions which be answered in a FAQ section, if someone could point me in the right direction. I graduated high school and have some college experience. I dont have a degree yet' I've been unsure of what I want to make a career out of...As far as I understand, I am eligible for a job, but it doesn't seem too likely. Maybe I'm wrong...Anyways, I wanted to know how I start out. All I've done so far was order a "green book" to start brushing up on my studies. How do I go about taking the test, or applying, or setting up an interview? It seems like an unusual process...Well any info is appreciated...Thanks!

Welcome to the site. Check out the link above. It's a good amount of reading, but it's concise and it'll probably answer all your questions.

Very beginning stage of a V8 Miata....as in I just got the car and waiting to transfer to a bigger facility before I get started. I've had a turbo MX-3 that was pretty fun. I've debated on getting an Evo or STi, think I'd go with the Scoobie because of softer suspension, makes a better daily driver. Guess I'm getting old and don't want to feel every bump.

What do you have done to it? Dyno #'s, track times?

I'm a newbie too, how's it going everyone. I'm Rocco and I'm 22 years old. I can see a few people share a common love for cars here so I am already comfortable. I would love to upgrade to an stii or evo x , ams has really been doing some crazy stuff to squeeze some serious power out of them. I drive a scion and I'm pretty happy with it now. I am currently in the cti program (last semester hopefully). Nice to meet you all, and will be seeing you on the threads.
