I retired in Oct 09...I have been told time and time again you can't get it online. The vMPF thing lets you print the unofficial version. Contact your local VA they will help, I hear it takes awhile...sorry I don't have better news.

I am still active duty for another 3 weeks, but I would like to access the unofficial version to print, but I dont know what vMPF is.

Contact the Navy version of the Air Force personnel office...you know the paper pushers....The chair sitters...

vMPF is "virtual MPF". you can access all your files as if you were sitting in front of some E-2 at the MPF. go to the web site that mtlatc listed above and you'll find the link for vMPF near the top right. you might have to be on a work (mil) computer, or the inter-web just doesn't trust my PC. could be the latter.

I googled DD-214 a couple months back.. and I'll have to look up the site, but they charged my like 5.00 shipping and sent me my DD-214 and a Disc for future print-outs... Ill get my wife to track it down in our filing cabinet and try and tell you by this afternoon...
