Just saw this "updated" announcement under my VRA ASAP and originally I just had the Wisconsin message of making the referral list now there's the message saying "they went another direction" but that was put out March 5th and now the updated ASAP states the two notifications just saying I made the referral lists came out today... So am I out of the running for WI or no?

No I'm sure its just an error I'm pretty sure you made both lists...Cuz I got pretty much the same thing and alot of other people are getting these weird responses on their asap as well. I mean I'm VRA with CTO and a TRACON rating with more than 52 weeks...If they don't want me then I dunno what they want..I called them to make sure my asap wasn't filled out wrong either and since I didn't make it in Oct cuz Washington wasn't hiring. My app is good and I'm sure its just an "asap glitch" and the referrals are for real. Leave all that negative stuff out the window and stay posotive bro it makes life easier..and less stressful lol

Yes, Zach is right. I called earlier today just to make sure and I spoke to the VRA app guy (I think his name was Terry...?) who explained that there was a glitch in the system. He said that most people were only being referred to their #1 state before, so they closed that one out and fixed it. Now we should all be on State #2's referral list also (assuming each state MADE a referral list lol)

Thanks for calling Monica! And thanks for the good feedback Terry! I was so disappointed this morning when I got my first "we don't want you message" lol (It's only slightly funny after the fact...ruined my day) Then was referred for two states this evening....ehhh??? I was so confused. And didn't want to get my hopes up. Still don't. I have a couple friends in the FAA and they both said that possibly it could be a glitch. BC it just seemed too weird. But either way I am keeping my head held high!!!! As should all of you! Lord, give us presences to make it through this LOOONNGGG process!

I submitted a VRA to Indiana and Kentucky. Does anyone know if these states have referral lists? I have looked all through these pages and haven't seen a single person with any of these states. I just checked my ASAP and there is nothing yet.

Also how do you find out what states are hiring? Would be nice to find that out so I can change my state selections.

I made Indiana's VRA referral list... Call the phone number and make sure everything on your application is in order; it may just be that you have made a minor mistake when you filled it out...

If it was a glitch, are all the 3/4/2010 referral lists a glitch? I got an updated one on my VRA on the 16th but nothing new on my CTO.

It seems, just from all the chatter on here, that the people who encountered the "glitch", it was only on their VRA announcements. That instead of being referred for only one state, after the updated "glitch", we were referred for two states. Did anyone else have different results?
