FOL without your dd-214?

Has anyone gotten an FOL without your DD-214. I was slotted for the May11th class, but just got a call saying I am being pushed back to June class because I don't have my DD-214 yet. I thought I heard of people already being at the academy before they have their DD-214???

This is what happens with you completely lie on your application. Honestly you are lucky they do not find out why you don't have your 214 yet and decide not to hire you.

I made the referral list for March 2010 but I don't get out of the Navy until August 2010. Will the FAA reject my application even though class up dates are not likely until after August.

Never lied smarty. FYI they know that I am still active duty, and they have the whole time. I was able to have my app in because I had a early out, conditional on if my academy date was before my separation, which obviously didn't happen. So take your know-it-all attitude elsewhere.

so if i get picked up under a CTO announcement, will they EVER ask for my DD-214? i'm trying to work some sneaky stuff here

If you're claiming any kind of veterans preference i'll bet dollars to donuts they'll ask for it.

Just guessing here, but I'd say "no" for a CTO announcement. Of course, if you can show a DD-214 you'll get credit for your military time, for vacation accrual purposes.

So when you filled out your application you put in your exact separation date? If you are saying having an academy date gives you an early out of the military they would not have given you the academy date if you put your current separation date on the application. You said in another thread you lied on the ap by a year or 9 months or something like that.
