Anyone else?... Just wondering where all you TOL but no FOL guys stand.. I'm headed to BUF after OKC. Not too excited but I'll take it at this point! What's the scoop fellas/ladies?

Hey hun, I am from Texas. I have family that moved from San Saba to Anchorage about 10 years ago. Maybe more. They fell in LOVE with it. Only one of their kids moved back to Texas. And that was only after about 7 years. They seem to constantly have something going on. Fishing, swimming, racing, hunting, snow mobile riding. and their pictures are INCREDIBLE! Post card worthy lol I am in love with Texas myself, so I understand where your heart is. But good luck to you! Who knows....you might also fall in love with Alaska :-) Keep your chin up....

Received a TOL in Aug of 2008.... Yup thats right no typo there. A lot of lost paperwork, "oooops, we forgot to slot you for a PEPC and there are no more slots", "I can't get you a class date because your medical is going to expire in a little over a month and you can't start a new medical until this one expires".... And my personal favorite "We filled all the slots at the facility that you are suppose to be going to so call me back around Aug 2010, I should have slots opening then."

I just take it all with a grain of salt, I know a guy that waited 4 years so I guess that keeps me going. As for the Aug 2010 thing I just requested to be redirected to a different facility that does have slots open, so hopefully after I get another medical and MMPI done I will be in class soon.... LOL

Ha, only a couple more months and you won't be CLEARED anymore. Your drug test is only good for 6 months, and your physical and psych are only good for 1 year.

From the day I took it with the psych, 10 weeks. It took exactly 7 weeks from the day it was sent to Washington D.C..
