Apply for both.. gives you opportunity to apply for 4 different states, which means, more chance! Good luck!

BOTH, without question...

You may luck out and get 2 offers (1 offer from both) and you can choose between those 2 offerson what facility you want to go to. This will also increase your chances of getting hired, and faster.

Both will get you a higher pay in the academy and both will make you eligable for the 20K bonus.

yes. do both. this happened for me.

i put CO and FL as my preferences..

My vra area offered me Daytona beach, and my cto app offered me Denver Approach... so i got to choose from the two states i picked... great success.

? here. i am applying for both, my question is for the 20k bonus...do you have to have the 52 weeks at the time of your selection or when you get to OKC? with VRA i've got a tracon ticket that i've held since oct 08 but with CTO, i didn't get my cto till jun 09. i get out in march if that matters at all.....

i'm getting a 20k bonus and going to denver tracon, and do not have any approach experience.

and actually the cto announcment is the one that i am going to denver on.

doesn't it say 52 weeks of experience AND have a cto? you obviously have 52 weeks of ATC experience. AND you have a cto. not 100% sure though buddy.

one more question and i promise i'll try to go back to being the quiet little alter boy...

"Applicants with 52 weeks experience within the last two years as a Certified Air Traffic Controller with Certified Tower Operator (CTO)/radar certification may be considered for a recruitment incentive of up to $20,000"

this is the exact wording from the announcement....does this mean that if i get picked up on the CTO one that i can still get the bonus because my radar cert...
