DD-214 prior USAF
Posted: 10-01-2009, 12:15 PM I remember someone saying to keep your VMPF login and password and to login into VMPF the day after you seperate to snatch you DD-214....any personal experiences with this?? I need this ASAP so i can collect that free money/unemployment.

Posted: 10-01-2009, 01:24 PM Well you can get a copy of your soon to be DD214. It's not the real thing but it's the one you submit to get your real one when you seperate. Go to self service actions, then seperations, then it will say DD214 worksheet. Make sure it's updated and you're able to print it out. It's looks kinda official so it would probably pass w/ some civilian who doesn't know better.

Posted: 10-02-2009, 02:21 PM I ended up having to contact Denver. It was rather painless. They sent me an email of my DD214 within an hour of me calling them.
