From Panels to Knowing Something

Does anyone out there know how long it takes to find out something(anything) after the CSP meets? The anxiety is killing me. I didn't know if anyone had prior experience of this situation, and could shed some light. Thanks!

2weeks to a month or so...i heard back just shy of a month after panels met back in april

It was six weeks before I heard something after the April panels. I had given up hope at that point. Seems like VRA is usually much faster, though.

Six weeks? Jeesh.. i dont see how it can take so long to simply let people know they were selected... I hope the PEPC is gonna be somewhere cool this time.

P.S. Im gonna doo doo my britches when people start posting they recieved selection emails, cuz i always check this board before my school email... those 20 seconds of closing the stuckmic page, will possibly be the most nerve-racking 20 seconds of my life.

That's what I'm saying. I heard that the panels were meeting 26-28 October. I'm separating in December so I need to know yesterday. Where can I go on here to see where people start posting that they've been selected?? I'm pretty new (really new) so any help I can get is much appreciated.

It takes that long because they contract the e-mail notifications out and they have to make sure they all match up. During the last round they sent ATCtower's e-mail to the wrong person, it ruined the guy's day who was incorrectly notificed and tower's because the June PEPC was already full.

should I have gotten an email to say I was referred? I didn't and I went back into ASAP to recheck all my info and everything was correct? It would suck if I got selected and they send an email that I need to reply to and I never get it and they say "oh well." Now I'm freakin worried!!

no email comes...go to asap, go to applications, then click on "submitted" for pub7
