I got this in my e-mail on Nov. 5th, just seein if anyone got something similar:

Congratulations! You have been chosen for further consideration for an Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) position in Texas.

The next step in the process is for you to decide if you would like to accept or decline this offer to interview. You will be receiving correspondence from several different offices. Please respond to all correspondence/emails/telephone messages. You must respond to this inquiry in order to be scheduled for an interview.

This process begins with you being scheduled for an interview. You may have heard of the Pre-Employment Processing Centers (PEPCs) at which applicants can be interviewed and initiate all of the pre-employment processing. At this time, there are no PEPCs scheduled so we plan to have you interviewed at an FAA facility located close to where you live. Your interview will be scheduled at Everett Air Traffic Control Tower, in Everett, WA unless you notify us that you have relocated.

If you successfully complete your interview and are recommended, the Aviation Careers Division will provide you with the information required to schedule the remaining pre-employment processing steps..........................

there have been quite a few folks that got it the same day as you...have a look around some of the other sections of the site and you'll see a bunch of threads regarding the emails

Crap. That's kinda disheartening. I hope they are stretching them out over a few days like the referrals. Where most of the other ones from the same state(s) or a whole bunch of different states? I assume you got it for VRA? Well, congrats bigrex.

Has anymore vra applicants gotten an email??? I was referred under cto for FL and TN with a 5 pt veteran preference, but no email yet.

i'm VRA... no e-mail yet... but its the weekend, i'd suspect they're taking the weekend off and will start up again next week, then continue again after thanksgiving...

Man it seems the cti forums have blown up with emails. I have not seen many vra posts which seems a little odd. There has got to be more coming. Surly somebody has talked to somebody. I am trying to see some logic with this process

Yeah, but they posted up a poll for who got a letter under what, and half of the people on the poll are cti, the others are vra. Like 8 vra's I think
