It seems I got passed right over on my referral list. They fed me a lot garbage about why I wasn't selected. I called and asked, and all they said was keep applying. HUh? That's it? Any body heard from a RELIABLE source when the next panels are?

I guess I'll go cut my grass with scissors one more time before mowing season is over. There is a lot of SOB's out there that got turned down. What a waste of energy on my part really thinking they might give a RATS ASS ABOUT MY APPLICATION. Real experience if you want it! Come and get it!

Its odd how those with experience are continously passed up. Even better, why ask for states if they are only gonna refer you to one. If Texas has such a great need why wasn't I picked up? VRA doesn't have any pull what so ever. Its all about who you know, at least it seems that way.

Have you considered that it may be the way you filled out your application? I'm WS rated at one of the busiest facilities in the AF. I was invited to do an interview for Texas, VRA app. However I also just got offered a DoD spot at Eglin. The family consensus is we're gonna take Eglin, and do a wait and see approach with the FAA. So there will be one more spot open in Texas, maybe you'll still get that email.

I am starting to lose faith that I will picked up by the FAA. It seemed like the last panel did not hire many people. Is there anybody out there that has been passed up more than once after being referred?

I hope I do get an email for that spot. I have considered that it may be my app. I was offered Denver center last year but it wasn't a place I wanted to go. In retrospect I should have taken it. If anyone gets an offer you should take because you never know when or if you will get another.
