Referrals are based on submitted questionnaire
Posted: 11-17-2009, 06:17 PM So I have already received an e-mail saying that I will be getting an interview scheduled in the next few weeks. I even know where the interview will be (HOU). But I logged onto ASAP today and clicked on submitted under the VRA application and this is what it said:
Referrals are based on submitted questionnaire at time of referral. Date Questionnaire Submitted: 7/12/2009 7:27:13 PM Referral list FA-AAC-10-25778: Issued on 10/14/2009 for the Throughout Texas duty location at the AT-AG grade/payband. Another candidate has been selected for announcement # AAC-AMH-09-VRA-12513 for which you applied. We appreciate your interest in employment with the Federal Aviation Administration. Please continue to check the website for vacancies of interest to you. So I guess this means I am screwed?? No interview, no background check, nothin. It just stops there??? Why would they even send me an e-mail to schedule an interview if they are just gonna do that??? Has anyone seen this before? |

Posted: 11-17-2009, 08:36 PM Hey big rex, if you want to get any answers that are legit, you need to get transfered to someone who knows and can look you up. If they refuse to transfer you, hang up and get another person who is willing to help. I think his name is bobby for the VRA. I called and got. the answer from him that I was not selected. I got five different answers that I might be selected for interveiw etc until I got transfered and he looked me up.

Posted: 11-17-2009, 08:41 PM I had the same problem when I called, and hit a dead end with three people until a woman named courtney transfered me and I got a for sure answer. I thought I accidently deleted that email for interview. He said I was not selected.
