Anyone thats been hired...
Posted: 01-05-2010, 09:16 AM ... willing to let us look at your ASAP application? I'm specifically wondering about wording/formatting of the descriptions for experience and awards, etc. I'm sure it's just nerves but I really don't want to get passed up in the hiring process since they are so few and far between nowadays, because of wording on my app.
If anyone's willing but didn't want to post it up on here, maybe a PM? |

Posted: 01-05-2010, 09:54 AM I understand your nerves. I asked the same question to one of my AF guard buddies who got picked up for a busy center. I was looking for warm fuzzies just like you.
I was shocked when I read his application and questionaire. He had a lack of "quality" ATC experience and other relevant skills. Some of his inputs even made me chuckle quite a bit. It made me feel "over qualified" as an active duty controller Did I mention he got hired VRA?!? |

Posted: 01-05-2010, 08:27 PM same... you gotta know ONE person whos been hired.... I've shown my app to lots of buddies from IRL... tho I'm nervous about blanket posting anything personal online, the FAA's probationary period scares me
