Anyone else applying VRA right now?

Im working on my application right now and was wondering if there was anyone else right now who is applying or applied recently to VRA.

Yes, I applied on 4 Jul 09(about 5 months before I got out) and didn't get selected for the Oct panels. Now, like a lot of people on this website, I'm waiting for the next panel.

You never really KNOW. Like many others on here, I stay tuned in to the rest of the forums to hear the rumors, emails from HR, etc. and just kinda play it by ear. Right now it seems that the Jan/Feb panels were cancelled and sounds like Mar/April is when the next one will be held.

I also applied last summer, and haven't heard a thing.

I still have to finish up the online application. The work history is a pain in the butt. I don't have phone numbers or addresses for places I worked at years ago. Thankfully I have a connection at Houston TRACON. I need to call the guy and get a tour of the place. Has anybody found it helpful to know people at the facility you want to work at before you apply?

Hey guys, yeah I just applied for the VRA announcement a few weeks ago. What should I expect? Sounds like a long wait for anything huh?

Have you heard anything back yet??? I'm still in the process of finishing up my application. Been a little on the lazy side since i got discharged 3 weeks ago.
