Re: Enroute Map and Non-Radar Problems

I have an updated map and 2 scenarios worth of strips. These are what we use here at UND, and I have permission from the instructor to post on here for anyone that may wonder. Enjoy!

P.S I will try to find the last two scenarios for non radar on the school drive.

OK! I found 30 sets of non radar strips. I am not sure if they are all the same or different I really dont care to look through them all. I have it saved as a .zip file and if anyone would like it please message me.

The map still isn't the current Academy one. Lots of spelling errors (e.g. it's "McComb", not "Macomb"), there's no MCA at HATER, JAN APP is AOB 050, few other things. Nice that it has some other details that come on a separate map at the Academy, holding pattern boundaries. We put all of the ones we have on SM together, we'll have one really, really good map.

The scenarios will be nice to have for people who want some new ones to practice.

    Thanks for posting these up.

Edit: Not trying to come off as a critic, btw. Just being anal. Appreciate you putting it up for others to take advantage of, Undctiatc.

I have the exact map of memphis66 in large format along with a 100 page handbook about proper strip marking for radar and non radar problems, as well as the proper LOA's between facilities. It's all legit. I promis you.

Never heard of such a thing. In fact our instructors encouraged us to share things with 'new' students.

Was this something that happened recently?

Re: Enroute Map and Non-Radar Problems

First question upon reaching OKC: Have you prepared yourself before hand?

    Me: Yes
    OKC Dude: How so
Me: Well, I studied up on the Memphis 66 Airspace and have it memorized already
    OKC Dude: You're Fired

Does anyone have any study material they'd be willing to share with someone who's slotted for ZOB?

Relax and enjoy the time you have before OKC. You will have plenty of time to study the map and OKC isn't all that interesting so beer drinking and studying is all that you find yourself doing. When the stars are alligned just right, you do them at the same time!

Selected PUBNAT 6 for ZDV = Accepted!

Dont know when.... GB and WC told us of two students that were 'terminated' for having information before the start of the class. They would not elaborate, so perhaps they knew more than they should but we were led to believe it was for having the course outline and map.

They were a bit more secretive than Rossta lets on with our class, but we were also a PITA class for them.

Either way, it was explicitly put to us that people were let go for such things, just trying to look out...

maybe they had test answers? its extremely hard to believe they would reprimand you for preparing yourself for the academy.

Look bud, you are analyzing the same people who gave us "FAILING" alterations literally hours before our pass/fail evals without the chance to practice them. Do you really think they give a damn on what your interpretation of "different things" is? I promise. They dont.

We were told of someone who was fired because they had a bullet keychain which was considered a weapon. Funny, it was someone I knew and it played exactly that way./
