    Im in it right now.

    Here's the site.
    You probably have to negotiate with H.R. though. When I got hired I only had a month to move and then was at my SSC for a month before going to common principles.

    Thank you! A friend of mine is in the pipeline so this should be helpful. What shop are you and what location?

    https://www.khanacademy.org/ is free and invaluable. I used it to learn basic trig before Common Principles and it made that part a breeze...

    One tip I can give you is to practice rearranging formulas. I am in ILS concepts right now and also in Common Principles. They give you a formula sheet for each test, but only one version. Its up to you to solve for the correct variable.

    Examples:
    Given m, and Emin Solve for Emax
    m= Emax-Emin/Emax+Emin

    Or
    PR=a sin theta(angle)

    Solve for theta(angle)

    Answer
    theta(angle)=arc sin theta (PR/a)

    Both of these formulas are used in CP and ILS Concepts

    Be comfortable with rearranging formulas

    2nd correction
    theta(angle) = arc sin (PR/a)

    Not

    theta(angle) = arc sin theta (PR/a)

    Awww man!

    During my interview they asked
    a=b/c solve for b and without working it out I swapped the top two in my mind making b=a/c wrong!

    I was still hired and I worked hard and got a hundred on the math block test in CP, and 92% CP overall.

    Tests and interviews can test on your current knowledge, but it can't test on your actual ability/potential.

    Algebra and trig to me is use it or lose it. But so far in my classes you'll always be using it.
