    Waco, TX

Just wondering, does anybody know Jeff Orr? Marcus Smart of Oklahoma State Cowboys shoves fan - ESPN I was reading this article and it mentioned him and I just thought it was funny because he is ATC in Waco, TX.

Don't know the guy personally, but thought that entire incident was absolutely ridiculous. Regardless if someone is being racist or whatever else, as someone who is looking to go Pro, and someone who represents their team and their school, this was absolutely reprehensible behavior. Smart should be banned from College Basketball for at least a year, and Oklahoma State shouldn't even allow him to re-enroll.

If Jeff Orr would have said what he did watching/playing street ball, chances are good he would have been stabbed. Ive seen it happen.

However, this is a college stage. Those players put up with a lot. Granted, Smart needs to be a little smarter with these types of situations because of the stage he is on, but on the other hand, there is no reason for Mr. Orr to lash out, especially hosting a team and representing himself and his team.
Was the reaction by Smart uncalled for? On this stage, yes it was.
Were the words said by Mr. Orr uncalled for? Absolutely. He should be ashamed and embarrassed.

Jeff Orr seems to me like any other passionate rival fan. There's always someone yelling something at the other team's players. It doesn't really surprise me that he's a controller given the Type A personality trait common among many of them. I laughed when I watched that video. Hopefully Smart learns a lesson.

I agree with both sides here and just thought the situation was extremely hilarious. But yea, Smart definitely needs to be smarter.

It seems most reports dropped the racial slur angle shortly after the incident. I believe he really did just call the guy a "piece of crap." Immature, but hardly racist.
