This is my first year in the agency, and i scheduled my leave last Nov like everybody else. But im wondering is it ever possible to move the dates? I'm still in D school i figured its possible? I scheduled one of my weeks id like like to move up and month and wanted to see if anyone has accomplished that or if people get pissy for even asking. Thanks.

Since you’re a trainee and not certified on anything it shouldn’t be a problem. Talk to your training sup in the area. Once you’re countable for staffing or CPC better yet, that can be hard to do depending on the time of year it is. You’d have to cancel your original bid leave and try and get all spot leave for the days you want off.... and spot leave is not guaranteed like bid leave.

It's probably just staffing contingent. Go into WebSchedules and look at the Leave Calendar. How many leave slots a day does your area get? For example, if there are 6 guaranteed leave slots per day for your area and you go into the Leave Calendar and see less than 6 people on the days that you want, you can just put in for the spot leave for those days (given that the schedule still hasn't been published yet for that pay period) and you can cancel your other leave if you don't want it.
