If You Passed the Biographical Assessment, Post Here

    Age? 29 (30 next month)
Have you taken the AT-SAT before? No
How much work experience do you have? 12+ years; mostly in higher education, most recently as a student adviser.
Do you have any aviation-related work? No
Are you or were you a CTI student? No. I did enroll in 2003, but did not start the program.
Any other details you'd like to share? I have a BS in Accounting, but I've never worked in that field either. I've wanted to pursue a career in ATC since high school, but never applied before. Excited to take the AT-SAT in 2 weeks! Nervous too, as I'm seven and a half months pregnant... Not great timing, but I'm getting old!

Hey Everyone! Trying not to get my hopes up but I've been trying to get back in the FAA since 2009. Here's the back of my card:
    Age: 33
    CTI Grad
ATSAT tested Nov 2007 scored 90
Hired by Boston ARTCC, offer letter Feb 08
FAA Academy in June 08 to Oct 08
First day Boston Oct 4th 2008
Spouse took a civilian contract overseas 10 months into my cert, resigned in good standing to be with my husband.
15 years as an Air Force Interceptor Controller
    KABUL Center/RADAR liaison controller 2010-2011
    Secret clearance, 5pt pref
    NATCA member since 08
I've been rejected 3 times on the bio until this time, I approached the questions differently. I made sure I also chose geographic locations I knew were historically hard to staff in the agency.

Not happy about testing ATSAT again, it's a waste. Not sure how you can lose the aptitude for something you have already proven you can accomplish, especially since I have maintained medical and continued to control aircraft. However, I'll play the game.

I thought this was only the second bid with the BioQ?

Hi! i worker at ZBW. I've taken the At SAT twice now, the last time was only a year ago. i called HR to see if I had to retake it thinking maybe they didn't realize I just did. She said the test is different now and that's why I have to retake it :/

Different now from only a year ago? That would be an unwelcoming surprise.

I have applied and taken the biographical assessment about a month ago. Does anyone know when I will hear anything? I check on status and its green check and says thanks for applying your application has been received. No referral lists have been created?

everyone is waiting. You should be receiving an email (hopefully in the next 2 weeks) to take the ATSA. So right now you just sit and wait. This whole process is very long so be patient.
