    Heh. This girl goes to my flight school. I know her -- I almost called the local paper the evening it happened, but wasn't sure if the school would want the resultant negative publicity about the plane breaking down in-flight.

    Speaking of planes... the one that died on her? Yeah, that's what I was training in before switching to the Diamond. *cough*

    yeah whenever we had issues it was very hush hush...also becuase we had ERAU the rumor factory next door haha...glad she made it ok

    i thought this was in like PA or something when i read the article

    Awesome!!! I love to hear/see when Pilots (young or old) can just nail it in an emergency situation! Not that I want emergencies to happen, its just great to see the true skill of the Pilot.

    Ironically enough... her instructor left the key in the ignition of my trainer last night. Found them when I pulled the cover off this morning. Guess he can't be good at everything.
