So if you ask for ANY location a reasonable level above your current facility, you are 100% guaranteed to get it within that deadline? (lets say 3 years) or is it common they just deny it?

I own a home and my wife will stay in Texas with the rest of the family while I work in CA. Will I have to pay CA state tax?

Too lazy to start a new thread..I felt this was on topic. If your home of record is in Texas, and you work in an airport out of state do they take state income tax out for the state you work in? Texas does not have state income tax.. Wondering if California will be taking more money from me.

It sounds like a good idea, but my main concern with being sent to a place like napa is the chances of getting out of there... Sounds like a place not many people want to be. Would suck to be living out of your car for 3 years or how ever long it takes to leave.
