    Re: GA pilots?

Count me in as well. If I get on with ATC (submitted GeoPrefs last month) I plan to instruct on the side (ATP, CFII, MEI). It will be a little unnerving going from flying jets that approach at 120 KIAS back to C-172s that approach at 65 KIAS!!

    Re: GA pilots?

A little late with this post, so sorry for the necromancy, but I, too, am a licensed GA pilot currently moving toward my commercial ticket.

I haven't flown since I've moved to California. That's a bit grating in its own right...

Looks like I'll chime in too....

Typed in the C525 and C560

I fly when I'm not controlling. Still managing 20-40 hours a week of logged time in the winter and 40-60 in the summer

C'mon up. Ill take you to some places that will make your heart stop. 300' strip with 70'ish trees on both sides. Slip in from about 400', fish all day, hang it on the prop on the way out. That's the beauty behind a 180hp cub... i get off the ground fully loaded in about 80' with a headwind.

That or come do some gravel bar landings. That'll put some hair on your chest.

We just did a PA20 conversion on the 22, dropped a O-360 in it last week, and are waiting on the EDO2000's to show up this spring. Come get your float rating in it, explore all that alaska has to offer, and take home some fresh fish while you're at it..... or do what I did, and just stay here...

I think we've already gone over my desire to tell my wife I'm going on a sabbatical to fly your planes...

...and how she's break my legs to keep me from leaving. And, see, that's no good, because you need them for the rudders.
