LOL Irish! I totally believe that...and BigBoss, I can go to the academy before I start? I am so nervous...I plan on driving to and from the academy everyday, but how am I supposed to get in if don't have credentials? Oh well, I guess I will just fly by the seat of my pants for now.

Has anyone starting the academy on November 5th received their packet yet? Does it come snail mail or FedEx? I haven't received anything yet...Just wondering

If it makes you feel any better, I received the same exact, generic e-mail from her also. Then two weeks later I got the call...so hold out faith. I had just totally resigned myself to the fact that it would be next summer or so before I could even expect a class date...and voila! I got the call...

yes ma'am I did...I got it last Friday. The same day she called me and I already faxed back everything. The only thing I haven't received is the packet in the mail....

Got my class date on October 16th...I will be at the academy from Nov. 5th to March 22nd....Hopefully some other ZHU folks will hear something soon.

She implied it...then told me I was next in line for a date. She didn't want to get my hopes up before or something like that. Anyway...... Still packing......BAH!

Ha! That is funny! That is the same exact response I got from MG a couple weeks ago. Typo and everything! Hopefully it is just something to get us off her back....CS had told me back in August to expect a date in November or early December 2009. So I don't know what in the world is going...

CONGRATS!!!! I heard from MG on Friday. I am going to ZHU, have had all my clearances since Aug. 3rd, and was told it would be May 2010 the earliest date possible she could give me....after CS told me end of November/Beg. of December....... Can you call her for me and find out some better news...
