Man oh man, again these lists surprise me. You have some pretty good experience there, with some radar, and were offered 5-6s. And old boy the other day with only two years of any ATC experience offered Dallas Tracon. Lol. Blows my mind.

Congrats on the list, though! Where were you actually wanting to go? Anything close on the list?

Dallas an hour or so north, Austin an hour or so south, san Antonio 2, coast 6ish. Waco it self decent size population... there are plenty worse locations. But hey do you!

If I can get FT Wayne, Toledo, or Kalamazoo, Ill be happy. Those place will fulfill my hunting and fishing needs.

I got the same list... East was my #1 preference.

10 years experience USAF and DoD 2 RAPCONs, 1 DoD Tower and 1 DoD GCA.

My list...perfect example of how one could "Decline" the FAA's facility offer. I have eleven years experience in the USAF, Three CTO's, four Approach Qualifications and Two Military ARTCC Qualifications (Nellis AFB & Balad AB Iraq) and this is the list the FAA has provided me based on my "previous experience". I'm also a current GS-12 2152 at a Tower/Approach Facility in Virginia Beach. No chance I'm leaving my GS12 job for ANY place on this list. Each persons situation is different but to say that these list are based on "previous experience" and then give random list is BS. A colleague of mine with half my experience and no Radar experience got A80, N90 and SLC Tracon....this is random and a joke. Congrats to those who got list they intend to accept. If there's another bid I'll try again but like I said it seems extremely random and certainly not based on previous experience.
