I understand things might change for the applicants but as it stand now, the vast majority of us were disqualified.
I also understand veterans pref isn't a golden ticket to federal employment and that the applicant has to be qualified for the job first before any preference is applied.
But right now it seems that the vast majority (if not all) of vet pref applicants were disqualified and if it stands it might be time to do a FOIA request to see how many vets applied and how many qualified. The FAA can't disqualify all vets and then claim to follow the law and apply vet pref to a pool of applicants that don't have any vets.
so, any vet pref make it in the first cut?
