It's possible to work at an ATC-12 center without ever working a mid your entire career. And if you do happen to work one, you split the shift with your buddy and sleep for half.

You’ll have to look for mid level facilities that aren’t a major city such as: RSW, SAV, PVD, MYR, GSP, etc.

GFK is the only level 9+ that isn't 24 hours.
DVT, MOB, MYR, RSW, SAV, SFB, SNA, TMB are the level 8 facilities that aren't 24 hours.

VRB is a level 7 that is open from 0700-2100

No mid your whole career? That seems unlikely. We can’t even make it through a sides without working mids.

SEE in San Diego. Open 7-9, level 7 vfr tower, 35th busiest airport in the country.
Also VGT, north Las Vegas. Open 6-9 then 6-8 in winter. Also a vfr level 7

Even if you get a facility with mids it’s usually pretty easy to swap them out. There’s always that one person or two who prefers them. I think I’ve worked 4 mids in the last year and swapped the rest of them.
