Combining takeoff and landing for local pattern helicopters

Does anyone know if there is a mention in the .65 that forbids clearing a single helicopter pattern for takeoff and landing in the same transmission? It is to a movement area, restricted from the active runway, and happens so quickly it doesn't seem worth the trouble of de-combining.

I'm not aware of anything that forbids doing it. I've done that a few times for the very reasons you describe. In one instance years ago, I remember a coast guard helicopter requesting "land backs" on a runway. I'd never heard that request before, but once he explained it to me, I issued both clearances in one combined transmission.

Thanks. I have a request in with atsap for an opinion also.
