Has anybody received the e-mail for the Atlanta PEP-C containing the e-qip info?

My HR rep informed me that I will not be receiving an E-Qip email. She stated that we will be filling it out at the PEPC on Aug 4th. Joy...

That's crazy. It took a long time for me to fill that out. It said on there as well expect to add on 1-2 hours at the PEPC if you don't fill it out before hand. Make sure you know your work history for the last seven years and all of the periods that you were unemployed.

Wow. That really sucks. Filling that thing out can easily take more than 4 hours. Had I not been at home there would be no way I could have filled it out(Wouldn't have been able to give old addresses, contact info for references, etc). I'd suggest finding a copy online and filling it out beforehand, and then just transfering everything over once you arrive at the PEPC. If you don't do that I can't imagine you'll be able to complete it in a timely or accurate manner.

Q400 I would make sure I had the SF-85P http://www.opm.gov/Forms/pdf_fill/sf85p.pdf or SF-86 http://www.opm.gov/Forms/pdf_fill/sf86.pdf filled out before you go. I am assuming they sent the form to you but just incase, 85p is for terminal (tower/tracon) and 86 for en route. If you have the information all gathered and ready it will be a lot easier, I filled out my eqip with a prior sf86 and i took a total of like 1 hour.

Good luck.

I was baffled at the PEPC when I saw other candidates sitting there filling it out. As I sat there waiting for them to sort out how I got sent 2 EQIPs and trying to retrieve the data I submitted I watched someone next to me digging through her phone for numbers and calling people to get info. I would have never left the office if I had waited until I arrived to start.

As is I was there 7 hrs. I would've shot myself if I had to stay there another 2+ hrs working on that.

If anyone working on my medical clearance is reading this, that is by no means an admission of depression or suicidal thoughts.

Guess which ones won't be doing much studying in OKC.

You got two of em too, eh? They really need to get their paperwork together. I got an email the day after telling me that if I wanted my TOL -- you know, the one I already had -- I needed to send them an OF-306 right away -- you know, the one I already sent.

I liked all the people I met there, don't get me wrong, but they've been stuck with a pretty inefficient system. Sure we're not the only ones frustrated with it.

Who's frustrated?

Agreed!

Some of the employees I spoke with as I was escorted back and forth were a little irritated with how some of the things were run.
Did you talk to the lady driving the shuttle van, she was the one running it all.

I had two, I think. Both were pretty nice. If that was her show to run, I at least have to give her props for having a positive staff there. Everybody was in a good mood.

Also, there was a live band at Malone's Tuesday night. We picked the wrong day to go.
I really wish I could've stayed longer. But if I knew I was hurrying back to get fired I would've just gone around crashing in people's hotel rooms througout the week.
