How about Descent Clearances.... I know the ICAO states say that the descent must started within 2 mins.... However, my experience that it needs to be done within one minute or less before ATC gives us a second reminder!

Try 15 seconds or less. Not a hard and fast rule, but anything beyond that is a little weird unless you're having some sort of problem.

500 feet per minute is considered the standard for the climb or descent. If you can't maintain that you're supposed to advise ATC.
Yes off course 500FPM is min... but just wondering if ATC has a preference...
For example here in China ATC wants min... 2500FPM for Climb and Descent due to the congested and limited airspace they have to work with!
Most airspace in China is Military controlled and so for Civilian Transport there are only small corridors in which ATC has any play... therefore 2500FPM ATC requirement in China!

If you're only doing 500fpm in my airspace you can expect me to ask if anything is wrong or extended vectors for your climb.
