Heres my story,
I was hired back in 11/2007 - 5/2011. I started the rehiring process back in 9/2016, mean while I was and am working contract FCT as an ATC. I did not pass the MMPI, so I was referred to an MMPI Tier 2, live interview with a psychologist, which took place in 3/2017. In July 2017, I was contacted via letter and told that I was not fit for ATC medically due to Neurosis. I had to stop work at my tower. I reached out to a Dr. in Atlanta, he told my company not to let me go, but put me on leave. They approved this request. In August, I was cleared to go back to work as ATC at my FCT. I put in for an appeal to continue the hiring process. I requested an appeal in 8/2017. In 9/2018, I contacted the person in the FAA that I requested to submit my appeal and he told me that he no longer does that, he had been transferred and he never submitted my appeal. He suggested that I contact the Dr. in Atlanta medical, that got me back to work and requested that he submit my appeal. I talked to the Dr., he reviewed my file, found that the psychologist had fabricated some stories against me. I provided proof to submit in my file. The Dr. retired in 2/19. I found out 2 days ago, that my file had finally been submitted in 5/19 and that my file was still under review in DC. Do you have any feed back for me? Mean while like I said, I have been getting my Class 2 every year with no problems and am still currently working in a FCT. Thank you.
