Re: Miami Center (ZMA)
Pretty much all I know about Miami is that cost of living is high and there are some bad ass beaches (Florida beaches are far superior to Cali beaches!!). I plan on taking a trip down there in the next few weeks to check everything out. What surrounding cities or areas would you say I should begin looking at for a place to live? Which places should I totally avoid?
Good to hear there will be some other new people around there. Seems a little odd they would continue to hire people for a facility that is backed up w new hires. Why not send people to facilities where they can actually begin training...I can only think it was just a phase they went through and they are back on track. I've also read where things are getting back to normal (whatever that is!).I'm live in Miami and am going to OKC in May and then to ZMA. From what I'm hearing, it is getting better. I don't have a timeline and I'm sure it really depends how fast you can progress through the training. But, I'm sure that any 11+ are all going to take many years, so the horror stories/long training time don't bother me. I plan on taking a tour soon, when I do, I'll pass on any info I get.
If you have any questions about the city, ask away.
