I'm a pilot with questions for air traffic controllers. I'm new the the site but I'm not sure where I should post my questions, in the ATC section or the pilot section? I don't seem to have access to the "Ask an Air Traffic Controller" option, probably because I'm new.

Hopefully someone can vector me to where I should post my questions.

Ok, thanks. I was wondering if tower controllers receive any training or if there are recommendations not to transmit to pilots (information/questions) who are on short final or during flare. I recall during my early flying days (90ies) I feel like I would rarely if ever receive instructions or questions while I was on short final or about to touch down (unless it was urgent or safety related), but I've noticed a lot more communications these days during that critical phase. In the past, it almost seemed like tower controllers were watching me and waiting for gear to touch down before they transmitted. In the 90ies I flew in Southern California, now I fly in the deep south, and the tower at my local airport is a training tower, so that might have something to do with it, or maybe its all in my head.

Yes they are. Critical phase is supposed to be quiet time for that aircraft.
