Hello Doc,

First off thank you for posting answers on this board, I scanned the previous posts but saw nothing on this.
I monitor my BP at home and typically its around 140/90, however it seems that every time I set foot in a physician's office It shoots up over the disqualifying mark. How is something like this handled during the medical?

I'm in the process of losing weight (working out and eating more veggies), also I also have a Dr's visit should I request meds to better control this so I can pass during the flight medical?

Thanks again.
